WATSON - IAN SMITH
It is with great sadness that the family of Mr Ian Smith Watson announces his passing on 17th October 2021, at the age of 67. Ian passed away in Lochgilphead and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nikki; his four daughters Jennifer, Victoria, Chloe and Alexandra; his stepchildren Iain, Claire and Jamie; his grandchildren Isabella and Riley; and step grandchildren Seonaidh, Ailidh, Marsaili, Sam, Braegha and Sandi. He was fondly referred to as "Pater" and "Papa Ian".
Ian was a Solicitor & Notary Public for over 40 years, and former Tribunal Judiciary Judge. His passion for the law was infectious and resulted in his daughter Jennifer following him into the profession. It was well known that one of his greatest joys was salmon fishing, and he regularly took his family and friends on fishing trips. Ian was a unique character who was fond of a "rusty nail". A wonderful caring man who will be missed by all.
Funeral service will be held on Monday 1st November at 10.45am at Daldowie Crematorium, Broomhouse, 17 Hamilton Road, Uddingston, Glasgow G71 7RU.
